This new law is a secandary action.... you must commit a "traffic violation" for this rule to be acted on..... (page 2 line 12-14).......... I like Page 2, lines 3&4..........

If your not doing anything else wrong, this means nothing.

Chris, If you will reread House Bill 2377 with this in mind:
NOTE: Matter in boldfaced type in an amended section is new; matter [italic and bracketed] is existing law to be omitted.
New sections are in boldfaced type.

I think you will find the secondary action deal to be omitted from the bill. You will find the quoted note at the bottom of the first page.

OK, in my previous post, you will read this lil tidbit:
NOTE: Matter in boldfaced type in an amended section is new; matter [italic and bracketed] is existing law to be omitted. New sections are in boldfaced type.

In Bill 2377 you can find that "Note" at the bottom of page 1.

Now, if you read Page 2 lines 12-14, you will see that it is both in [Brackets and Italicized]. Because it is Bracketed and Italicized, it means that it "is existing law to be omitted."
